LENSE

Biological:
When I when to the market i notice alot of fruits. There were many different apples. There was a green apple that caught my attention.
Why was the color green?
Is there a speical way in growing this fruit?
When do you know this fruit is good to eat?
When can we grow this fruit? winter? spring...?
How long does it take to have a full grown green apple?
Are their any treatment to this fruit?
Is it industrialize?

Economical:
I notice that every food product their is always a different company that sells it more or less. For example i saw a couple of orange juices. One was called orange juice and it cost 3.56 and the tropicana orange jucie cost 3.99. ANd whe i look in the back the tropicana wasnt much different from the Orange juice.
Why are these two same juices different prices?
Both is 100% orange juice.

FAST FOOD

I had thick noodles with beef and scallon. when I took the first bite the noodle where chewy and the beef was alot harder to chew on. My top front teeth struggle to chop down on the beef. And as I chew on the food i felt the scallon flossing between my teeth. My tounge could taste the bitter flavor the noodle had. It taste the sour scallon and as I swallow the food I could feel the beef going down my throat. I felt my tounge pushing down my food.
The fast food was very oily, my face felt greasy as i finish the food. Other then that i didnt really feel like i gained weight right away.

Question

b.) which food seems healthiest to you?
Food that seem healthy to me depends on how they look. I dont really look at the label to see what they provide. If the food is too greasy or has a similarity to shit I wont eat. Other then the appreance of the food i also tend to eat food that provide more proteins because it helps develope stronger muscles.
My 3 days menu would be cereal/pan cakes, cheese burger, and rice wih chicken.
c.) Generalize what should people eat?
People should drink and eat more water/tea, salads, fruits, wheats, protein, vitamin, and minerals.
Intial Exploration
A.) We can get earth worms in our compose. This will help clean the soil and the chicken's waste. The earthworms creates tunnel which provides plant air and water. The air and water goes into each hole the worm creates. Not only do worm help plants with air and water their dropping known as casting also gives "rich in nitrogen, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, and these are all important nutrients for healthy, prospering ecosystems."
B.) We can find earthworms in moisty areas near the water. Or we can buy it from a online site "http://www.wormman.com/" They also do shipping. Here is also a place where we can call and go to see if earth worms are sold http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=Ajfx0Q08_jtvmd5ZShVtqhqHNcIF?id=11148938&state=NY&city=New+York&stx=earthworms&csz=82+Rutgers+Slip+New+York%2C+NY+10002&fr=zerorp-local-srchweb&ed=Jhhau6131DwhfzbE.cvSeBIqdLYJX0iK7S0XigUXFzA7VI98kcI872n6DEnjHF8D8PYiJu.KLjP2&lcscb=.
c.) Earthworms
d.) The issues and concerns are how many earthworms will we get? Will the earthworm move out of their area to classrooms or other areas that may destroy plants on the roof. Will the chicken eat the room in the soil? How much are we spending on the compose that we are building?size?

cooking rice

First off I washed my pot several times. Then i fill the pot with an inch of cold water and then boiled water. I waited till i saw the water boil. The process took about 3 minuntes it was fast, then i threw in 3 cups of rice and turn up the fire and cover the led for th pot. This took about 20 mintues because i waited for the pot to make some crazii nosie and then lower the fire for about 10 miuntes. THen i stuck a chopstick in the middle to see if everything was cook and ready. The whole process took only 25 to 30 mintues. The rest of the food my mom made and i didnt want to just eat plain rice so i added shrimps and peas!

Introduction to locally available strawberry yogurt

A.) what is it?
Culture yogurt with strawberries.
b.)why is it good to eat?
The strawberry yogurt is good to eat because it doesnt have BST, BGH, or Bovine growth hormone of any kind. BST or BGH are injected to cows so that they could produce more milk and we use there milk to make yogurt. BGH and BST is bascially the same because they both increase the milk prodcution for cows. This is a pro for farmers but not for humans. BGH can give us "pus"which leads to "digestive disorders such as indigestion, bloat, and diarrhea..." Bgh can also lead to cancer acceleration, meaning we humans can get breast, prostate, and colon cancer. Drinking bgh also leads to quick growth for baby infants from both cow or human. So this yogurt is good because they dont have BGH in their yogurt. The yogurt also provide protein, vitamins and minerals. Vitamins a, d and cla which also can protect againest breast cancer. THeir milk are all natural. An link that shows what this yogurt provides: http://ronnybrook.com/site_new/nutritional_yogurt.html .
c.) This product is sold in the famer market, 75 9th ave. BTW 15th & 16th Retail-scoop shop 212-741-6455. You can also reach them on their website ronnybrook.com
d.) THe strawberry yogurt is made with whole milk, and also live culture fruit including strawberries and butter milk. They grow the strawberries themseves and pick them out to make their yogurt.

I went dim sum with my family on sunday and had a strawberry milk shake with tapioca. The Strawberry milk with tapioca was alright. First off it was too cold to drink an cold milkshake becuase my hands were freezing. The milkshake had real strawberries and it taste bitter not too sour or sweet. The Tapicoa was sweet and chewy, and it tasted better with the strawberries. We ordered sticky fried rice, pork, chicken, chicken with rice in a wrap, and thick noodles with beef. The sticky rice was very chewy and had a mix of shrimps, scallion, and pork. The Chicken and rice in a wrap was good because the wrap is made out of plants and it keeps the food warm enough so you can still taste the flavor. i tasted the plant that was wrap aroudn the rice, this dish taste very similar to the sticky rice beccause it is also sticky. I porks was sweet becuase it had lots of suase on the bottom. Im not sure what is it but it made the food sweet. The beef also tasted sweet bu tthe thick noodles balanced it out making it just right. I'am not sure about the chinese 5 flavor putting into one dish because I didnt really notice the 5 flavor. But maybe becase the food is not really officially chinese.

(edit) as i bite down on the sticky fried rice with my two front teeth i notice how the rice grinds on my teeth and gums. The rice pushes my gums as it sequeeze into an spot. My tounge moves at the same paste when chewing the rice. I felt thepork shrimps and scallon rotate around as i chewed. The harder things were being chew on the side off my teeth inclucding my k-9 teeth. Harder things were shrimps, pork and rice. Then when i swallow my tounge pushes the food into my throat and i also feel something from my throat pushing it down as well. THe rice taste bitter it wasnt too sweet or sour. But i hated the taste that it left, i think it was scallon.
